GAM provides the means for creation of physical arts. GAM is especially relevant given the difficult economic times as creative individuals are often limited by their ability to obtain materials for artistic endeavors. GAM fosters a tangible sense of community for the givers of art as well as those who are receiving. The givers are encouraged by the knowledge that their extra supplies will be put to good use rather than take up space in their storage or local landfill. An inherent relationship is fostered between the givers to GAM and those that benefit from the materials.
